Founding
Sitemate’s journey began when Hartley Pike found himself spending nearly half of his working week as a field engineer doing mindless manual paperwork.
Even though his projects were using cloud based document control products, he believed that the built world had solved it’s file sharing problem, but that it now had a much bigger data problem.
Together with Sam McDonnell, they launched from the basement of the faculty of engineering building at the University of Technology, Sydney.

The built world is responsible for an excessive amount of physical paper being printed and often wasted every single day.
Dashpivot has already helped thousands of companies go paperless - and we are taking our commitment to reducing paper usage even further with the Dashpivot Seedlings project.
Our Dashpivot Seedlings Project is a social good initiative that aligns the built world's adoption of digital tools, with an ongoing investment Sitemate will be making into Reforestation.
Every form you create is helping plant a tree and offsetting CO2 emissions.

Social Good
Each of Sitemate's platforms have a different social good initiative which is related to its premise as a product. These initiatives are intended to layer on top of the positive impacts the solutions are already having in terms of reducing paper usage, reducing wastage, improving worker safety etc. by just helping companies go digital.
