Time savings through automation
Timesheet management for Mulgoa Quarries was extremely manual and time-consuming. Paper timesheets along with other site-based documents had to be physically printed out, delivered to site then transported back to the office which can take one to two days to arrive. Once received, the payroll officer would then scan the paperwork and manually key in hundreds of lines of data every week. This inefficient process meant that up to 95% of their HR function was spent on data entry rather than valuable HR work.
After moving to electronic timesheets with Dashpivot and using Flowsite to automate the transfer of collected data to Excel, and then to their ERP system, payroll workflow changed from 5 days data entry to just occasional checks and reviews.
