At the Awards Night, Sitemate was officially named the 7th Top Startup Employer in Australia in the 41+ employee category.

This category is full of fast growing startups and scale-ups, and Sitemate is excited to be named amongst some of Australia's most exciting startups.

The process

This was one of the first projects to independently verify the best startups workplaces in Australia.

My Startup Gig surveyed the employees at each startup, and each employer submitted evidence of their company practices.

To be considered a Verified Top Startup Employer and eligible as a finalist for Top Startup Employers 2023, each startup below met the following requirements:

Lance is the Chief Revenue Officer at Sitemate, responsible for driving aligned growth across go-to-market, marketing, and revenue enablement teams. He has played a central role in shaping the company’s commercial strategy, brand positioning, and path to sustained revenue traction.

Past Projects

B&J Catalano (Mining)Directed the rollout of digital safety workflows for a Western Australia-based mining services company providing earthmoving, transport, and bulk earthworks services. The deployment supported workforce timesheet capture across dispersed, high-risk field operations, improving visibility of work hours, reducing manual administration, and strengthening operational control across multiple project sites.

McKay (Energy and Renewables)Oversaw the implementation of quality management workflows for one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned electrical contracting companies, supporting inspection and test checklists, test sheets, and structured photo capture for electrical installations and commissioning activities across industrial, infrastructure, renewables, and marine projects.

Delcon Civil (Civil Construction)Drove the adoption of field reporting workflows for an Australian civil construction company, standardizing site diaries and site photo capture to improve daily reporting consistency, site visibility, and coordination across infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
